- שָׂקַד(b. h. Nif.; cmp. next w.) to bend, twist, plait.Part. pass. שָׂקוּד; f. שְׂקוּדָה (cmp. שְׁבֶשְׁתָּא) confused, mistaken. Lam. R. to I, 14 (ref. to נשקד, ib.) ש׳ הייתי מעונותיוכ׳ I was in error as to my sins, I thought that he would forgive me all my sins, when I heard that my verdict was torn up.
